TAWASUL SERVICES to provide consulting for KuwaitÕs Numbering Plan:

TAWASUL SERVICES launched its business activity in Kuwait by taking the responsibility of providing the selection of a new telephone service National Numbering plan. Partnering with Booz Allen Hamilton, TAWASUL SERVICES orchestrated the efforts of Ministry of Communications (MOC), Mobile Telecommunications Co. (MTC) and Wataniya to select the new numbering plan that best fit KuwaitÕs current & future needs for communication services. The new Numbering Plan calls to add one digit before the currently used seven-digit telephone numbers based on certain criteria. So simple it sounds, the implications it has touches almost every person and business in Kuwait, and all those who are abroad and connected.
After finalizing the new Numbering Plan selection process, MOC approved TAWASUL SERVICES proposal to MTC & Wataniya to further provide the program management and communications strategy for implementing the new Numbering Plan. In cooperation with Booz Allen Hamilton again, TAWASUL SERVICES is developing the master program management plan that all concerned parties will adhere to in preparing their systems & services to be ready for the big change at the right time. The Communication Strategy aims at developing enough awareness among users and businesses to provide smooth migration to use the new telephone numbers when implemented.
